New York Design Community Event Exceeds Client Expectations

O'Reilly DePalma produces a launch event for Porcher Solutions at Grande Central Showroom in New York.

The Porcher brand had an opportunity to launch a smart new collection of smaller-sized luxury bathroom fixtures and furniture at the chic midtown Manhattan showroom of its channel partner, Grande Central Showrooms of New York.

Porcher worked with  O’Reilly-DePalma to invite architects, designers and media attendance to the Grande Central Showroom at 56th Street. In collaboration with Wendy Silverstein & Associates, O’Reilly-DePalma  managed the event planning, connecting the client to the right influencers in the New York design community.

Final attendance exceeded the expectations of the showroom and more than doubled the attendance success metric the client set as a goal.

New York Designer Showroom Opening

Now open in Piscataway, NJ, the new American Standard Design Center Showroom features state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly design concepts to showcase both the style and performance of the company’s kitchen, bath, and commercial product lines. The flexible display space is designed to allow showroom owners and building professionals to fully experience the “total bath and kitchen solutions” offered by American Standard Brands.

The new showroom also makes the most of its restroom space, turning the conventional bathrooms into mini-showrooms of their own. The restrooms feature striking fixtures from JADO, Porcher, and American Standard as well as colorful, contemporary lamps and other accessories.

Rheem Water Heater Named in Top-10 Green Building Products for 2009

BuildingGreen.com called the new  Rheem integrated air source HP-50 Heat Pump Water Heater one of “the most exciting and innovative new products in the green building field.”  BuildingGreen.com editor Alex Wilson announced the honor during a seminar at Greenbuild 2009.

We’re not too surprised.  Rheem is continuously designing and developing their products to meet the efficient water heater needs of the future.

Back in September, Rheem was the first industry manufacturer to announce delivery of a fully integrated, highly efficient water heater. The HP-50 Heat Pump Water Heater, which meets the qualifications for an ENERGY STAR® rating, is more than twice as energy efficient as a standard electric storage water heater.

The energy-saving design will help a family reduce its carbon footprint by nearly two tons annually. In addition, the HP-50, which has a storage capacity of 50 gallons, qualifies for a federal tax credit as well as many state and utility rebates and incentives.
